Bacteria convert chicken shit into biogas. This is primarily composed of natural gas and carbon dioxide. Once the carbon dioxide has been removed, you can use it to fuel a power heat coupling plant that supplies heat and green energy.

Farmers use carbon-dioxide-free biogas to fuel their heating plants. Or they supply biogas to the public gas network. Before long biogas will, for the first time, be used to fuel cars. Look out for filling stations where we can fill up our cars with biogas or natural gas.

1,300 km/tank
Liquid biogas is of great interest to the transport sector. It provides a greater radius of activity than compressed gas. A truck can drive almost 1,300 kilometres on one tank of liquid gas. Fuel costs are therefore lower and you contribute to a better environment.That’s the low-down on chicken shit!
